SAIC Digital Collections is an online repository created and managed by the Flaxman Library of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and the Art Institute of Chicago. Spinning out of collaborations with the Ryerson & Burnham Libraries of the Art Institute of Chicago, SAIC Digital Collections features materials from special collections from throughout SAIC, made available online to all users.

Restrictions/Log-In
Some of our collections, and some material, have access restrictions that limit viewing of the digital object for non-SAIC Students and Faculty. If you are a member of the SAIC community you will have access to all collections by clicking on the “Login” link in the upper right corner of the page and entering your ARTIC username and password.

Technology
SAIC Digital Collections is built on the Islandora open-source framework, which is a combination of Fedora and Drupal.
