Fail: An Anthology
Ham, Abigail R.
"This book contains multiple creative and critical writings and images that examine the various manifestations of failure. It consists of and images printed in photo-lithography, five etchings, five relief prints, and hand-written reflective annotation and creative writing by the artist. It exemplifies through its form and material the failures of printmaking as much as the failures of the artist.”--From acquisitions sheet. The book takes a research-based approach in its investigation of failure in poetry, art, prose, mental health, fiction and non-fiction. Includes a handwritten abstract in which the author outlines her goals which are then erased and annotated again, emphasizing the process of bookmaking, the process of understanding, and the process of human thought and its constant revision.
