El geyser negro. cap. 1 : el desorden de Nuestra ciudad es Sagrado
A graphic novel about escaping from reality into a world of diversion through video games, costume parties, and sex. Challenging escapism, the narrator gives monologues where ideas of chaos, loneliness, fragmentation of the self, and erasure surface. At the end, Käthe Kollwitz’s Woman with Dead Child appears as a symbol of humanity’s own destruction. The metaphor of the self as a crack in the wall is repeated throughout the story. Cover is blank except for a splatter of white paint.
