The speed of the word sound : the sound of the word speed
A collaborative work between Michael Graeve and Mark Booth for an installation composed at Light Projects, Melbourne Australia in 2011. They performed, recorded, composed, and mixed the sounds onto the cassette tape. "Here on this cassette we offer the audio that played from the speakers in the installation. The voices of the artist, both rich with character and tone, recite texts of interloping sensory chains. The color on the wall is the same as the hiss in your ears. Waves of organ chords, electronic hums, and stretches of silence create pits for sensing, for dwelling, for losing time, for gaining meanings."--From the publisher.
