Bird that can sleep while flying
Series of abstract, black and white monotype prints, with some handwritten text in Chinese. Title card tied to spiral binding has text in both English and Chinese. The prints are inspired by Georges Bataille's "The Solar Anus," in which he suggests that the world is purely parodic--the suns, anus, and volcanoes all performing the sense of excess, an unnecessary pure consuming of energy without aiming for utility.
