Degiorgis, Nicoló, 1985-
Initially published in 2014 as a fanzine, the book documents the Dolomites, a mountain range in northeastern Italy, originally known as “the pale mountains.” Going from page to page mimics a walk along the ridge of the chain.; “The book meditates upon the dualism between apex and nadir and the constant alternation of both. By folding in half double sided prints, each spread becomes a juxtaposition of two separate peaks, each joining to the next one and forming a cycle, from night to day, from summer to winter, and back.”--From the publisher.; With die-cut letters in wrapper, spelling out the title. Held by black rubber band.
