Machine for living
"Machine for Living" documents and diagrams a sculpture of the same name built to contain everything deemed necessary for luxurious living. The sculpture, as highlighted in the book's photographs, consists of a wheeled, leather trunk that folds open to reveal its contents: champagne, artworks, a feather duster, stemware, and more. The book includes original photographs and hand-written notes as well as leather samples. Sewn cardboard cover and backboard. Leather strap secures outside. Sewn binding. Library has no. 9 out of 25, signed by author.
