The selfish giant's castle
Item Description
"These illustrations are based on the tale 'The Selfish Giant' by Oscar Wilde and were created in Tokyo by Masanao Hirayama in 2011. After seven years of absence, the tired Selfish Giant returned to his castle and found it invaded by children. He shouted and put a sign up at the entrance to chase them away. In revenge, winter fell upon his garden, and nature had its way with him until he once again let the noise in to his dear and silent refuge. THE SELFISH GIANT'S CASTLE, edited by Marcela Correa and Smiljan Radic, with a layout by Gonzalo Puga, was printed with a run of 500 copies in Santiago de Chile by Gloria González and Sebastián Donoso, in September 2012."--Taken from item.
