The culture of performance art
This publication, produced and mailed by the European division of ASA (Art Service Association) in 1995, features works by artists from across Europe who engage with contemporary performance and mail art. Each page combines images, text, and collaged elements to document or advertise performances. The publication presents a network of artists devoted to "basic research [that] lies in a different definition of the image in life, in a different sight of body in space. Above all, the body and the public as a result of the political movement, the social movement and the daily life in art and science are the [basis] of the body-research in the sixties…" Text is in English, Spanish, and Basque.
