"A reprint of the artist's first diary written as an 8 year old on the West Side of Chicago"--From publisher's website. Contains a reprint of one original entry from the diary and transcribed text from several entries. Some of the misspellings like "Dairy" are brought to the readers' attention by the consistent use of the notation "[sic]." The text speaks to family relationships and the frustrations of being a child.
