I won't be born
The first and only translation of selections of Ethiopian novelist ʾAbé Gubañā's novel "I Won't Be Born" and the poetry of contemporary Ethiopian artist Mihret Kebede from Amharic into English. The series "embarks on a mission to employ unorthodox translation methods with the intention of honoring misunderstandings, mishearings, missed translations, and misinterpretations that multiply and deepen meaning." – from the artist.
