über ein Jahr
Concept and design by Stefan Gunnesch and Oliver Viehweg. "The pages of the book are made of perforated cards. An associative term or a fragment of a sentence has been collected during one year and is placed on these cards. Every single card can be ripped out and the viewer can use the book like a personal calendar. If the viewer were to separate a card every day, the content of the book would disappear over the period of one year. The artistic concept deals with the dissolution of the book – referencing the transience of time."--From the artist. An individual card is housed between glassine pages at the front of the book. Each card features English on one side and the German translation on the reverse. Signed and numbered by the artists. The collection has copy 34 of 50.
