Untitled number one hundred twelve
Cahua, Carlos Jiménez
"A digital picture of a person was broken into a linear arrangement of its constitutive pixels beginning from the top left, reaching the top right and thereon zigzagging down the pixel grid. This linear arrangement of pixels, "a list of colors," was transposed into the document shown here at one pixel color per page, with the most significant transformation of this step being the 'enlargement' of each pixel's color field to cover the entire page."--From the publisher. PDF file (916,801 pages) on USB flash drive, housed in plastic box with paper certificate of authenticity. Signed and numbered by the artist. The collection has copy 41 of 50.
