3 Excerpts: "What Happened," "And She Keeps...," "Technical Demonstration"
Documentation of three performances by Laetitia Sonamim titled "What Happened," "...And She Keeps...," and "Technical Demonstration." Possibly submitted as a proposal to RSG. Sonamim performed an untitled piece on October 13-14, 1995 as part of the Time Arts series "Sounds Good to Me." For this untitled RSG performance, Bay Area composer/sound artist Laetitia Sonami presents an interactive performance that employs gestural controllers attached to her hands, creating evocative electro-acoustic compositions of language and sound. Her work is a unique and compelling union of gesture, language, content and musicality. The performance was a part of the Time Arts series "Sounds Good to Me: A Series of Audio Art and Experimental Music" held October 7-29, 1995. –[Source: Event Calendar -- September/October 1995]
