Show moreMoDi is a starting point that tackles our addictive behavior of using a smartphone, and navigates people to keep ask themselves, how technology is changing our life and forming our society. As the society is getting serious about the digital addiction, “Digital Detox” has been emerged for the antidote. It is the manifestation to the world of digital addiction to live healthy without the digital objects around us. However, digital detox may sounds like a great remedy for a such issue, but it is virtually impossible to live without the digital objects. Therefore, rather be just disconnected from digital world, MoDi is an object that transformed the disruptive and addictive quality of smartphones into beneficial element to promote a healthy sleep cycle. My thesis is about asking people that how can we make it better and build reciprocal relationship along with these technology, and how to guide us to live in a culture of distractions in the digital world at the optimal wellness.
